New Year’s Eve Without the Stress 🥂

Hello Reader,

New Year’s Eve calls for something a bit shinier than everyday cooking, but not by much. And finger-food easy. That's why there's a New Year recipe category on the blog 🎉

For me, the big holidays are over, and this is the one that should not require much effort on your part. The kind of food that pairs well with bubbles and doesn’t mind being made ahead ✅

What I'm making

Every New Year's Eve (for the past ten years or so), I get together with a group of friends and friends of friends. It's a large gathering and a very relaxed night with great food. I wouldn't miss it for the world!

It's potluck style, and we all contribute roughly the same dishes every year, so there's no overlap. These are mine.

Candied Almonds

Super easy and a crowd-pleaser. I make a large batch and divide it for Christmas and the New Year.

Mushroom Strudel

A fantastic room-temperature appetizer. I'm making this today and keeping it chilled until tomorrow.

Gin Grapefruit Cocktail

It's so simple that I take squeezed grapefruit juice and assemble the drink at my friend's house in large pitchers.

Easy Fudge

It has only 2 ingredients: chocolate and condensed milk. Usually, I add toasted pistachios, almonds and a touch of sea salt.

Easy Tiramisu

I use small jello or large shot cups, so a recipe yields a lot of servings! And they're disposable. This is a hit every year.

If you make a recipe from the blog and love it, please rate it ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ and leave a comment. I sincerely appreciate your feedback.

What went on in March Hello again Reader, The first quarter has come and gone, and it's time for our monthly recap. This year, I'm posting fewer new recipes, as you might've realized, as I'm slowly making my way back to Instagram (finally!) and adding videos to the recipe cards. Shooting videos is taking up a lot of time, let me tell you, but it turns out I really like it 😍 Whatever season it is where you are (these past two weeks have been extremely humid here, and it's not fun), let's recap...
