The Week After: Christmas Leftover Recipes🎄

Hello Reader,

What we all need today: what to do with leftovers, not only with dishes like glazed ham and panettone, but also ingredients we bought too much of, which is the situation in my kitchen every.single.holiday 🤷🏻‍♀️

I'm always left with a notorious amount of nuts, chocolate, and dried fruit, and they're all put to good use.

Nuts, dried fruit and chocolate

Mix and match leftover chocolate and nuts (dried fruit also works), and make clusters.

A snacking cake to use up chips and nuts.

Melt and stir chocolate bark to snack on all winter.

Quick and easy muffins.

These brownies work with any nut.

Apples, cranberries, holiday breads and more

Overflow of apples? Make spiced butter and a pot of homemade cider.

Got pie filling leftovers: make dump cakes!

For leftover sweet pie crust scraps, make cutout cookies.

Another epic breakfast muffin.

Make this quick sangria 🍷

A fantastic bread pudding with an Italian flair.

Have pie crust leftovers? Make a cobbler with fresh or frozen fruit.

Quick and flavorful French toast.

Another unique French toast.

The perfect apple pudding with leftover holiday bread.

Meats and savory

Most (or all) of the proteins work interchangeably in these recipes, so swap away! Remember to adjust seasonings.

Make sandwiches with chicken (or turkey) salad or vintage ham salad.

Stuffed French toast is a crowd-pleaser!

Salads with nuts and dried fruit: a green salad, quick couscous and carrot salad.

A classic turkey cran sandwich.

Quick to assemble and memorable sliders when eaten warm.

Easy fritters and crisp taquitos with any protein.

My fav vegetable turkey soup works with ham and chicken.

My favorite savory bread pudding.

Classic quiche that works with a homemade or purchased crust.

A crustless egg bake that accommodates different add-ins.

Let me know if you make any recipes from the blog. I'd love to hear about your experience! You can leave a comment and star ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ review in the post or reply to this email. Happy baking!
