Thanksgiving Desserts That Are Not Pie πŸ˜‰

Hello Reader,

I love traditions and baking the classics, but sometimes you want to share something new or disrupt the holiday table just a little bit πŸ˜‰

Last week, I sent you readers' favorite unconventional Thanksgiving pies. Today, I'm sharing desserts that are anything but pie, so you get the bonus of not rolling and crimping.

They go from easy and no-bake to creamy with an overnight chilling, but with components or whole recipes that can be made ahead.

And they're all so worth it, you might find a new favorite!

Trifle

Whether you make individual cups or one large bowl, it has layers of pumpkin bread or cake, cheesecake with warm spices and whipped cream.

Cranberry Cake Cobbler

You layer the filling, sprinkle the dry cake mix over the top, drizzle the butter and let the oven do the rest.

Applesauce Crisp

This easy apple dessert is unique. The addition of applesauce makes it softer all around, adding an extra texture that is almost pudding-like.

Whoopie Pies

This easy recipe is a cross between a soft cookie and a cake with a sweet cream cheese filling. And called pie, I know!

Maple Pecan Cheesecake

I took two vintage recipes (cheesecake and pecan pie) and made a mash-up dessert. There is maple syrup in the cheesecake filling and pecans in the graham crust.

Pumpkin Snickerdoodles

These cookies are soft, chewy, slightly tangy, coated in cinnamon sugar and delicious!

Apple Bars

These old-fashioned apple squares have a simple shortbread base topped with a juicy apple filling and a buttery, crumb topping that contrasts nicely and makes it a crowd-pleaser!

Pumpkin Dump Cake

It's an easy dessert, a crustless pie more than a cake. Imagine a smooth pumpkin pie filling meets a crumbly topping made with 3 ingredients.

Pumpkin Apple Cake

Super moist from the pumpkin, it also has caramelized apples topped by an incredible buttery streusel with spices.

Mini Pumpkin Cheesecakes

They're a great make-ahead dessert with a creamy texture. They don't need a water bath, cool faster than full-size versions, and freeze beautifully.

Eggless Tiramisu

It's creamy, flavorful, and easier to put together than the traditional recipe (which requires an egg custard).

Brown Sugar Cheesecake

Creamy, smooth, with a sour cream topping and the unmistakable caramel flavor that only brown sugar can achieve.

If you make a recipe from the blog and love it, please rate it ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ and leave a comment. I sincerely appreciate your feedback.
