MONTHLY ROUNDUP 🥳 The best of July

What went on in July

Hello again Reader,

July seemed longer than usual. Or was it just me?

I'm knee-deep in fall and holiday content, so apples and pears will start making an appearance soon.

The blog is getting a small facelift in the coming weeks! It'll have a new and easier to navigate homepage, a simpler category archive and a new logo ❤️ I'm excited for all of you to see it!

This month, I published several new recipes and fully updated some posts from my first days of blogging (more than 13 years ago!), so let's recap what happened this month.

Most popular recipes

One reader said: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Absolutely delicious! I make them all the time now!

Not surprised to find the best classic cheesecake here!

We regularly tweak and update old recipes with new images, tips and answers to readers' questions.

The old-fashioned potato salad gets first place!

One reader said: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ This is the BEST potato salad I have ever tasted! I appreciate the detailed instructions on how to cook the potatoes correctly, as I am not a good cook (haha). This turned out so good, not mushy, and with the perfect tang. Thank you so much!!

Runner's up:

My favorite cookie (and an absolute crowd-pleaser!).

A hearty muffin we make all the time.

What the team and I made

Besides my birthday cakes, I made this sweet spicy side dish and these pecan chip cookies for a family gathering.

My VA made these pancakes, this pesto, and this curd to use the lemons from her tree.

Some of what August will bring

  • A lot of pear and apple desserts will start making their way to the blog in August.
  • I have several tiramisu-inspired recipes that I'll start to share. Are you a fan? I definitely am!
  • And more! So keep an eye on your inbox. 🎉
